Weddings Parties Anything are one of my favourite bands, despite having broken up several years ago.
Singer/songwriter Mick Thomas has written a thousand great songs but the one that has emerged as a favourite for many fans over the years is 'For a Short Time'. It's a classic song about fate and travel and those people you meet along the way that have an impact on your life. We decided to do our own take on the song because the lyrics tell such a powerful story. They resonate deeply with me and make me think about my own experience and about those people I only met … for a short time.
