For a short while this indie band of brothers are the toast of the Hopetoun. But as a commercial crossover proves elusive, cracks begin to appear in the camaraderie. Overnight success is too long in the making. The competition who seem to have better drugs, better connections and better looking girlfriends is starting to look tempting. The bass player leaves. The drummer leaves because the bass player left. Another member is lost to a band that's heading overseas. Our hero is beset by desertions and defections.
