Jona Byron: Harder Ships Of The World

about

The harder ships of the world is a song by the French artist Keren Ann from her self titled album. I felt an instant connection with the song and it's message and aesthetics. I was deeply moved by the idea of an intangible love and the battle to maintain a relationship. I as an artist experience this personally especially while on tour. After I recorded the song live at home, I emailed Keren Ann's manager and asked for permission to release the track some day. She said she loved the version. I hope Keren gets to hear it sometime and appreciates the inspiration she has given me as I give back. Jb
