David Stanton But this is my first memory of The Sugargliders. Years ago I used to listen to New Used and Abused on 3RRR hosted by Lawrence Hudson. One evening he broke from his usual diet of English Indie pop tunes to announce that he had received a record in the mail from a local group “The Sugargliders” and he proceeded to play it. I remember that the song had the line ♫I think she likes the Housemartins, but she doesn’t know I exist♫ or words similar. I have always wanted to hear that song again.
