I love discovering a track that was recorded so long ago to find it's an absolute gem. I was given some Big Star records only recently and listened obsessively to one track in particular, 'What's Going Ahn'. This soon turned into the idea of doing a home recording of it for a bit of fun. Strangely, and sadly, Alex Chilton passed away while we were in the middle of recording it, so we decided to release it for this here compilation. A bit rough, a bit sketchy, but a true tribute to a stunning song, that I'm glad I chanced upon." - Luke Thomas (Deserters)
