Underminers: Trouble Man - alternative version (Feat. Freya Hollick)

about

"Trouble Man was probably causing us the most trouble in the studio..I decided at the eleventh hour that I wanted Freya Hollick's voice on this - I remember seeing her play for the first time and she commanded attention from that room with a whisper. We did several versions and ideas with her and she was such a trooper with all our crazy instructions from the control booth..the duet one (on this cd) was arguably the best. For some reason we used her voice for just backings on the actual album version. I found it hard to place this version amongst everything else but maybe I should have bloody tried harder! This can be our 'Blind Willie McTell' then. Dylan left that off his 'Infidels' album for some inexplicable reason and it was later released as a rarity..okay, this song cannot compare with that but you get the point I am trying to make!"
