“Picking one song out of the entire Popboomerang catalogue is a pretty daunting task but when Scotty asked us to record a cover Underminers' Heart Part of Your Mind album stuck out immediately. I've always admired the poetry of Hap's lyrics and the intimacy and melancholy of that album. We narrowed it down to two songs, recorded both, but TV Song just felt right for us.
We tried hard to make this version our own, at the same time trying to give it a bit of a David Lynch vibe (I was re-watching Twin Peaks while we worked on this) whilst trying also to maintain the intimacy and fragility of Underminers' version”. Mark Woodward
