about

Danny McDonald

Danny McDonald is known as one of the more enduring and respected singer-songwriters to emerge from the early 90s Melbourne indie pop scene.

In a prolific career spanning almost 25 years both as a solo artist and as a member of P76, Jericho, Little Murders, The Stoneage Hearts and The Pants Collective (with Andy from The Living End), he has released or had a hand in around 40 CD, vinyl and digital releases around the world and has toured Australia extensively.

Danny’s most recent single, ‘The Melbourne divide’—an ode to the Yarra river—was released in 2015 as part of Melbourne label Popboomerang Records’ 100th release.

He has recently finished recording a new Little Murders album due out later this year and is currently writing towards a new solo album.
