'What A Day - written by Gary Beavis

'A song about "trying to pay the rent", written by an old friend back in the 90's, just somehow had to see the light of day. Recorded in one take with a couple of overdubs it remains as rough as it sounds! Anyhow, what fun it was to record such a great song written by such a dear friend. I hope we've done it justice, Cheers Gary." Luke Thomas

lyrics

You don't have to ask, you don't have to try
You may never know the reasons why
You don't have to look or notice the day
the morning has broken anyway
there's nothing too bare
It's all anywhere
the rooftops are shouting

You just have today
what a day, like today

You don't have to look or notice the day
the morning has broken anyway
there's nothing too bare
It's all anywhere
the rooftops are shouting

You just have today
what a day, like today
